The reading and sermon of the day (Matthew 13:31-33, 44-52) focused on how the kingdom of heaven is the miracle of God’s greatness working quietly within the ordinary. Like a mustard seed, yeast, or hidden treasure, it may begin almost unnoticed, yet it grows until everything is transformed. “How Great Thou Art” is our response of wonder to that mystery.
