Sidrabene’s annual Jāņi (Latvian Midsummer) celebration returns on Saturday, June 20, 2026. Join us for a full day of music, dancing, crafts, and community.

Schedule

• 11am – 7pm — “Zirgs un Muca” open (St. Andrew’s Ladies’ Auxiliary)
• 12 – 5pm — Artisan Market + flower crown making (basketball court)
• 2 – 4pm — Children’s crafts (basketball court area) and wagon rides (starting at the dance floor)
• 7pm — “Jāņi” Celebration — Dancers: “Daugaviņa”, “Daugaviņas Meistari”, and “Mazā Daugaviņa” + Musicians: Dāvids Šmits, Maria Thorburn, Alberts Vitols, and Gab Hegedus
• 7pm – 12am — Food Truck (near the dance floor)
• 9pm — Outdoor dance with Testostertones (outdoor dance floor) + Sing-along campfire (“Čau” fire pit)

Pool open all weekend — lifeguard on duty 12–6pm

Admission

• Ieeja: $35
• Students (18 and under): $25
• Children (12 and under): Free
